Building a Spa in Türkiye: What Governs the Job
Istanbul is not just where we sell — it is where the cabins are cut, glued, pressed and dry-fitted before they are shipped. That changes what we can promise about tolerances, snagging and lead time, and it puts us inside the Turkish regulatory system rather than beside it.

Fire, electrical and pool regulation
Enclosed wet and hot rooms fall under the Turkish fire regulation Binaların Yangından Korunması Hakkında Yönetmelik — Council of Ministers Decree 2007/12937, published in the Resmî Gazete of 19 December 2007 (No. 26735) and amended as recently as 1 July 2025 (No. 32943), so a specification written against an older revision is out of date. Power supply and earthing follow the Elektrik İç Tesisleri Yönetmeliği; the separate Elektrik Tesisleri Proje Yönetmeliği expressly carves out installations already covered by it, which is why in-building spa work sits under the former. Any pool serving guests or members is a public pool under the Ministry of Health's Yüzme Havuzlarının Tabi Olacağı Sağlık Esasları ve Şartları Hakkında Yönetmelik (Resmî Gazete, 6 March 2011, No. 27866), which places water-treatment, turnover and record-keeping duties on the operator — we hand over the documentation that file needs. Note the regulation's own scope is pools for swimming, cooling off, recreation or sport and it contains no sauna or hammam provision, so whether a commercial cold plunge falls inside it is a judgement we take with the project's consultant rather than assume. Trading licences for hammam and sauna premises run through the İşyeri Açma ve Çalışma Ruhsatlarına İlişkin Yönetmelik (2005/9207).

Istanbul water is three times harder than Dubai's
This is the sharpest contrast between our two main markets. Gulf cities run on desalinated water that is soft; Istanbul runs on surface water that is not. İSKİ's published water-quality report gives total hardness by treatment plant of 131 to 224 mg/L as CaCO₃ — Büyükçekmece 224, Ömerli 208, Kağıthane 144, Cumhuriyet 142, İkitelli 131 — with TDS of 184–377 mg/L, against DEWA's published 60.7 mg/L in Dubai. At the Büyükçekmece end that is roughly 22 °fH, above the softening threshold every steam-generator manufacturer publishes. So on a Turkish project we specify softening on the steam feed and an accessible descaling route as standard, not as an upgrade — and we do not copy a Gulf specification across.

The factory is a two-hour drive away
Headquarters, the design studio and the production floor are all at İkitelli OSB in Başakşehir. For a Turkish project that means a mock-up can be reviewed in person before series production, a marble slab can be selected off the rack rather than off a photograph, and a snag is a van journey rather than a shipping cycle. Factory and showroom visits are by appointment.

Yes. Factory and showroom visits in Istanbul can be arranged by appointment — meet the engineering team, review materials and finishes, and see production first-hand.
How much does a custom sauna or spa cost?
We quote per project rather than publish a range, because the same specification lands at a very different total from one building to the next. What moves the figure is the size of the cabin or wet room, the timber and stone grade, the heater or steam generator selected, how much of the enclosure is glass, the waterproofing, tanking and drainage the room already has, and how far power, water, drainage and ventilation have to be brought to it. Send us the room dimensions, the ceiling height, the access route and the services already reaching the space, and we return an itemised, position-by-position quotation covering equipment, construction and installation.
How long does a spa project take?
A single sauna or steam room typically takes 6–10 weeks from design approval to commissioning, including manufacturing at our Istanbul facility. Complete villa spa packages run 12–16 weeks; hotel projects are scheduled per the construction programme.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes. From our Istanbul base we export and install worldwide — deliveries in 35+ countries since 1987, with door-to-door logistics and our own installation teams.
Which certifications do you hold?
Our own certification is TS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management, covering sauna and spa product manufacturing and after-sales service. The equipment we install carries CE / EN 60335, TÜV, GS, GREENGUARD Gold, FSC and VDI 6022 certification from its manufacturers — EOS, Sentiotec and Condair among them.
