Maintenance and service
One maintenance team for the sauna, steam room, hammam, pool and hot tub, working from the drawings and the equipment manufacturers' manuals.
Sauna Dekor services the saunas, steam rooms, hammams, pools and hot tubs we build, and rooms built by others after a condition survey. A visit covers heaters, generators, controls, timber, grout, drains and water treatment, ends with a written report, and no part is replaced without your approval.
What we service
Five rooms, one maintenance team
Each room has its own maintenance discipline. The same technicians cover all five.
Sauna maintenance and service
Heater, wiring and control unit checks, stone replacement, bench cleaning, sanding and timber treatment.
Steam room maintenance and service
Generator descaling, drain valve and electrode tests, essence dosing line, grout and silicone joints.
Hammam maintenance and service
Heated marble platform circuit, kurna basins and taps, steam supply, marble and mosaic joints.
Pool maintenance and service
Pumps, filters and dosing, water balance records, overflow channel, balance tank and pool hall air handling.
Hot tub maintenance and service
Filters, disinfection and pH, circulation and jet pumps, blower, heater, cover and cabinet.
Schedule
Maintenance schedule by room
Daily and weekly tasks are the operator's; the yearly visit is ours. The table is the starting point of every service contract.

Typical intervals for planning. The equipment manufacturer's manual and local regulations take precedence, and hotels and clubs with daily use need more frequent checks than a home.

What happens on a service visit
Condition survey
We read the drawings and the equipment plates, then inspect the room. On rooms we did not build, this first visit is a survey.
Checks and readings
Electrical, water and air readings are taken against the manufacturers' manuals and written into the visit sheet.
Your approval
If a part needs replacing, we tell you first, with the reason and the manufacturer's part, and change it only after you approve.
Report
Every visit ends with a written report with photographs and readings, so the next visit starts from a record.
Warranty
Warranty on the rooms we build
24-month warranty on workmanship and manufacturing; 24-month manufacturer's warranty on electrical and mechanical equipment; 5-year warranty on structure and waterproofing. Equipment manufacturers' warranties run in parallel.

Frequently asked questions
What does a maintenance visit include?
Checks on the heater or steam generator, controls and safety devices, timber or stone surfaces, grout and silicone joints, drains and, for pools and hot tubs, the water treatment plant. Every visit ends with a written report.
Do you service saunas, steam rooms and pools built by other companies?
Yes. The first visit is a condition survey. We report what we find and quote the work before doing it.
How often should a sauna, steam room or pool be serviced?
A home sauna or steam room is usually serviced once a year; hotels and clubs with daily use need more frequent visits. Pools and hot tubs need daily water tests by the operator. The equipment manufacturer's manual takes precedence.
Do you replace parts without asking?
No. If a part needs replacing, we tell you first and change it only after your approval. We fit the equipment manufacturer's part.
What warranty applies to rooms Sauna Dekor built?
