Sauna Dekor is a Turkish sauna, hammam and spa manufacturer and turnkey contractor that exports, installs and commissions complete thermal suites across Africa. Founded in Istanbul in 1987 and now in its 40th year, the company has delivered in more than 35 countries; African work has included a private villa sauna in Lagos and a thalassotherapy resort in Algeria.
Design, in-house manufacturing and turnkey installation of luxury saunas, hammams, steam rooms, pools and complete wellness facilities — delivered across Africa, with authentic Turkish hammam heritage and a global track record since 1987.
Every project is designed, engineered and manufactured in-house, with production and supply hubs across Türkiye, Germany and the Netherlands — then exported and installed across the African continent, coordinated from our Istanbul headquarters.
Contracts and invoicing in USD or EUR, structured per project, with a single point of contact from design through to commissioning.
Every installation is built under our TS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, using equipment that carries CE, TÜV and GS certification from its own manufacturers, and is engineered to each country’s local building and fire-safety codes.
From 3D design and technical documentation to custom marble and premium Nordic woods — one team from concept to handover, backed by a 24-month warranty.
Contrast therapy is our craft. Every temperature on this spectrum is a facility we design, manufacture and install for projects across Africa.
Plus salt rooms, ice fountains, shower systems, massage rooms and complete hotel wellness floors — and authentic hammams, a natural fit for North Africa's bath heritage — for hotels, resorts, developers and private residences across the continent.
Every discipline a wellness project needs — under one roof, coordinated from our Istanbul headquarters and delivered across Africa.
Business planning, layout design, conceptual design, 3D visualisation, cost estimation, spec & BOQ preparation.

Five-star thalassotherapy spa for an Accor property — the wet-and-thermal scope on a seawater-therapy floor, delivered as an export contract from Istanbul.
Twin hospitality commissions in the Algerian capital, running in parallel — hammam, sauna and steam scope across two hotel wellness floors.
Hotel spa installation in East Africa — sauna and wet-area scope shipped and commissioned on site.
Turnkey thermal scope for an international five-star brand: 47 Finnish sauna cabins, 47 steam rooms and 28 prefabricated jacuzzi units, plus the full IFC drawing set. Contract awarded July 2026; manufacturing under way in Istanbul.
Also delivered across the continent: a private residence sauna in Lagos, Nigeria, and residential and commercial work in Libya (Tripoli and Benghazi) and Ivory Coast. Client names on hotel projects are used only where the client has published them; private residences are described by location only. Detailed references are available on request under NDA.
Africa is fifty-four jurisdictions, three or four distinct climate regimes and no single building code. What travels across all of them is the export contract: a cabin engineered and built in Istanbul, shipped as a kit, and commissioned on site. What changes is the code we engineer to, the port we ship through, and the physics of the site itself.
Our own certification is TS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management, and the equipment we install carries CE marking with TÜV and GS certification from its manufacturers. That combination is what most African authorities will accept as evidence for imported equipment. Local approval then runs through whatever national or state route applies, and that route differs sharply between Algiers, Lagos and Addis Ababa — in some markets a national code, in others a state or municipal planning permit. We do not publish a code reference we have not confirmed for the specific country and year: instead we ask the project consultant to state the code basis in writing at tender stage, and we engineer and document to it. That is also how we avoid the common failure on African export contracts, where equipment certified to one standard arrives on a site being inspected against another.
The assumption that Africa means heat is wrong for a large part of the continent's hotel market. Addis Ababa sits above 2,300 m — Bole International Airport's aerodrome elevation is 2,326 m — and ASHRAE's 0.4% summer design dry-bulb there is 26.2 °C with a 17.9 °C design wet-bulb, cooler than Istanbul and roughly 18 K below Doha. A wellness floor at that altitude needs heating and reheat capacity that a Gulf-derived design simply does not carry. Altitude changes the equipment too: thinner air means lower density and a lower boiling point, so convective heater output, steam-generator behaviour and any compressor- or pressure-vessel-based equipment must be checked against site altitude rather than the sea-level figure on the datasheet. We run that check before the order, not during commissioning. One more local detail worth planning around: Addis Ababa's hottest month is March, not August.
For landlocked destinations the port and the inland leg decide the programme. Ethiopian cargo routes through Djibouti; West African work through Lagos or Abidjan; North African work is a short Mediterranean run from Ambarlı or Trieste. We quote Incoterms explicitly, pack as a site-assembled kit sized for the last mile, and send our own supervision team to lead installation and testing & commissioning.
Sources: aerodrome elevation as published for Addis Ababa Bole International Airport; national code references are named as the route to approval, not as a claim of accreditation. Where a country's code basis could not be confirmed we say so and ask the project consultant.

220+ hotel & resort wellness projects across 35+ countries since 1987
Yes. From our Istanbul base we export and install across the African continent — with engagements including a flagship hotel spa in Addis Ababa — coordinated by our own project and installation teams.
Across the continent — North Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia), East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya) and Sub-Saharan markets — for hotels, resorts, developers and private residences.
We quote per project rather than publish a range, because the same specification lands at a very different total from one building to the next. What moves the figure is the size of the cabin or wet room, the timber and stone grade, the heater or steam generator selected, how much of the enclosure is glass, the waterproofing, tanking and drainage the room already has, and how far power, water, drainage and ventilation have to be brought to it. Send us the room dimensions, the ceiling height, the access route and the services already reaching the space, and we return an itemised, position-by-position quotation covering equipment, construction and installation.
A single sauna or steam room typically takes 6–10 weeks from design approval to commissioning, including manufacturing at our Istanbul facility and shipping. Complete villa spa packages run 12–16 weeks; hotel projects are scheduled per the construction programme.
Yes. We provide door-to-door logistics with export and customs clearance handled end-to-end to any African destination.
Our own certification is TS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management. The CE, TÜV, GS and GREENGUARD Gold marks belong to the equipment we install and come from its own manufacturers — EOS, Sentiotec and Condair among them. Every installation is engineered to each country’s local building and fire-safety codes.
