Heated Relaxation Loungers
Short answer: A heated relaxation lounger is a contoured stone, marble, ceramic or mosaic surface with a heating circuit inside; guests lie on it after the sauna, steam room or hammam. Sauna Dekor Spa Solutions builds the lounger shell and finish in its own facility in İkitelli OSB, Istanbul, and installs it in spa rest areas, hammams and villas.

What should you know before choosing heated loungers?

What is a heated lounger made of?
A carrier shell shaped to the body, finished in 1 of 4 materials — stone, marble, glass mosaic or ceramic — with a heating circuit below the surface. Stone and marble hold heat for longer; mosaic follows tighter curves. Shell, finish and joints are made in our Istanbul workshop, so the lounger arrives ready to set and connect.

Where are heated loungers used?
In a relaxation room, in the warm room of a hammam, and beside a hydrotherapy pool in a villa. A lounger does not need a room of its own: it is set into the rest area the spa plan already has, in rows of 2, 3 or more.

What do power, control and cleaning involve?
Each lounger, or each group, gets its own protected circuit to the local wiring rules (BS 7671 or IEC 60364), with the controller outside the wet zone. Tiled loungers sit on a waterproof core — wedi makes ready-made cores, see our wedi page — and sealed joints let the surface be wiped every day.

What about motorised and dry-water beds?
Motorised loungers and dry hydro beds are equipment made by their own manufacturers and carry their certification. We plan the floor space, the power and the ventilation for them and build the joinery around them, as in our treatment rooms; electrical equipment carries the manufacturer's 24-month warranty.

Which water, treatment and rest rooms do we build?
5 rooms between the hot and the cold side of a spa, each with its own sizing, materials and services: jacuzzis and hot tubs, shower systems, massage room design, relaxation rooms and heated relaxation loungers. They come together on our spa and wellness page.
Jacuzzi and hot tubs

What is a heated relaxation lounger made of?

Does a lounger need its own room?
No. Loungers are set into the relaxation room, the warm room of a hammam or a rest area next to the pool. They are planned with the room's power, drainage and cleaning access, not as stand-alone furniture.
What does a heated lounger installation need?
A protected electrical circuit for each lounger or group, a controller outside the wet zone and, for tiled loungers, a waterproof core with sealed joints, so the surface can be wiped and disinfected every day.
Do you make motorised massage loungers?
No. Motorised loungers and dry hydro beds are made by their own manufacturers and carry their certification. We plan the space, power and ventilation for them and build the joinery and finishes around them.
Which warranty applies to heated loungers?
Our warranty covers 24 months on workmanship and manufacturing, 24 months manufacturer's warranty on electrical and mechanical equipment such as the heating circuit, and 5 years on structure and waterproofing.
