Red Light Therapy Room Fit-Out

Short answer: A red light therapy room holds a panel, a bed or a cabin made by its manufacturer, which emits visible red and near-infrared light without heating the room. Sauna Dekor Spa Solutions chooses the format for the space, supplies the device and fits out the wall or floor mounting, the power and the ventilation in spas, clinics and villas across the GCC.

What should you know before fitting out a red light room?

01

What is checked first: the wavelength

The one technical criterion that matters when a panel or a bed is chosen is which wavelengths it emits, and in what mix. Two bands are discussed: visible red at 630–660 nm and near-infrared at 810–850 nm. A panel that emits only visible red and one that emits both are not the same class of product. The figures are on the manufacturer's data sheet; where they are missing we ask for them, and we do not propose a device without one.

02

Panel, bed or cabin?

The room decides. A panel is mounted on the wall or a stand, takes the least space and the user stands in front of it. A bed covers the full body but needs a room of its own and a service clearance around it. A cabin is used standing and means a separate enclosure. In many spas a panel and a bed are installed together: the panel near the changing area, the bed in its own room.

03

How is it different from an infrared sauna?

A red light device does not heat the room; an infrared sauna raises the cabin air to 45–60 °C. The two do different jobs, so we describe them separately. They can be installed side by side, or combined in one cabin.

04

What do we supply and install?

We do not manufacture red light panels, beds or cabins. They are made by their manufacturers, whose data sheets give the wavelength and power values and whose certification and warranty apply. We select the device for the room, supply it and prepare the mounting, the electrical supply and the ventilation; in a small closed room the device's own warmth is noticeable, so the air is planned from the start. See the red light therapy equipment we supply. This page covers installation only and makes no health claims.

The difference between a consumer mask and a commercial bed is the control of power density and wavelength. The gap between them is wide.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which wavelengths do red light devices use?

Two bands: visible red at 630–660 nm and near-infrared at 810–850 nm. Commercial devices usually combine both and state their power density on the data sheet; we compare devices by the figures their manufacturers publish.

Is a red light room the same as an infrared sauna?

No. An infrared sauna heats the cabin air to 45–60 °C. A red light device emits light in the 630–850 nm range and does not heat the room. The two can be installed side by side or in one combined cabin.

Should we choose a panel, a bed or a cabin?

The room decides. A panel takes the least space and can go in a rest area or a changing corridor; a bed needs its own room and a service clearance; a cabin is a separate enclosure used standing.

What does a red light room need from the building?

A stable wall or floor for the mounting, an electrical supply to the manufacturer's data sheet, ventilation, and surfaces that can be wiped down after every session.

Do you fit out red light rooms in the Gulf?

Yes. Sauna Dekor Spa Solutions has completed 5,000+ projects in 41+ countries since 1987 and fits out rooms like this in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the wider GCC, coordinated from our Dubai office.

How do you get a quote for a red light therapy room?

Send us the room size and ceiling height; we will work out the scope and the budget range with you.
