AI Spa Planner
Size a sauna heater, a steam generator or a hammam from your room, see the operating temperatures and get answers from our engineering pages. No sign-up, no data sent.
The AI Spa Planner sizes a sauna heater, a steam generator or a hammam from your room dimensions, using the same rules our engineers start from: about 1 kW per m³ of sauna plus 1.2 m³ for every m² of glass or stone, and steam demand per m³ set by the wall finish. It runs entirely in your browser, sends no data and uses no chat model. Results are indicative; our engineers confirm them on site.

How it works
The rules behind the numbers
No chat model and no guesswork: the planner applies the same published rules our engineers start from, then we check them on site.
| Topic | Rule used | Source page |
|---|---|---|
| Sauna heater | Design volume = room volume + 1.2 m³ for every m² of glass, stone, tile or concrete; then about 1 kW per m³ (Harvia's published rule). Heaters of 9 kW and above usually need a three-phase supply. | Sauna heater sizing |
| Steam generator | Room volume × 0.5–0.6 kg/h per m³ (acrylic), 0.75–1.0 (tiled, insulated) or 1.0–1.4 (marble or stone), rounded up to the next generator size; more for glass fronts. | Steam generator |
| Temperatures | Finnish sauna 80–100 °C · bio sauna 50–65 °C · infrared cabin 45–60 °C cabin air · steam room 40–50 °C at close to 100 % relative humidity · hammam 40–50 °C room air · heated marble platform (göbek taşı) surface 40–45 °C. | Sauna · Hammam |
| Cold and water | Cold plunge: we build cold plunge pools for water temperatures from 2 to 15 °C. Snow room: about −10 °C (TechnoAlpin). Hot tub / jacuzzi water 36–38 °C; spa pool around 30 °C. | Cold plunge temperature |
| Build time | Turnkey: depends on scope: about 2 weeks for a single sauna; up to 6 months for large projects. Hammam: 3–8 weeks for homes; up to 12 weeks for large projects. | Hammam |
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI Spa Planner a chatbot?
No. It is a rule-based planner that runs in your browser. The sizing rules are the ones published on our engineering pages, and the answers come from a search over the short answers and FAQs on saunadekor.com. Nothing you type is sent anywhere until you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
How accurate is the sauna heater estimate?
It is a starting point. The planner adds 1.2 m³ of design volume for every m² of glass, stone, tile or concrete and then uses about 1 kW per m³, the rule Harvia publishes. The final heater is the one whose published volume range covers your design volume; our engineers check the walls, ceiling, ventilation and power supply on site.
Why does the wall finish change the steam generator size?
Cold, heavy surfaces such as marble keep condensing steam, so a stone hammam needs about twice the steam of an acrylic cabin of the same volume. The planner uses 0.5–0.6 kg/h per m³ for acrylic, 0.75–1.0 for a tiled insulated room and 1.0–1.4 for marble or stone, then rounds up to the next generator size.
Does the planner give prices?
No. Prices depend on the finishes, the equipment and the site, so we quote them after we see drawings or a short brief. Send your planner summary on WhatsApp or through the contact page and we reply from our Dubai office or our Istanbul factory.
