Short answer: EOS control units set temperature, humidity, running time and lighting from one panel; some add weekly programmes, remote start and building-management links. Sauna Dekor selects the control with the heater and installs both as one system.
Most panels are mounted outside the cabin, with only the sensor inside, because their protection rating is meant for a dry room. The control has to match the heater's output and switching, the steam generator if there is one, and the lighting circuits.
Commercial saunas usually need time limits, remote start safeguards and a link to the building's management system; homes need a simple panel the owner can read. See EOS sauna heaters and EOS safety systems.

Frequently asked questions
Does Sauna Dekor make EOS control units?
No. They are made by EOS Saunatechnik in Germany. We select, install and commission them with the heater.
Where is a sauna control panel mounted?
Usually outside the cabin, with only the temperature sensor inside, unless the manufacturer rates the panel for cabin use.
Can an EOS control link to building management?
Some models can, through EOS's building-management modules; the model pages list which.
Material information is the manufacturer's product specification. In the cabins we build ourselves we use ayous, aspen and pine, including their thermo-treated versions; hemlock, red cedar and alder on request.
