What the wedi wall elements is

Here the XL and XXL building boards work as partition walls: they are self-supporting up to a total length of 180 cm and are simply bonded to the floor and the wall. There are no profiles, no framing and no metal studs; that cuts both the installation time and the wall thickness. A Sanwell wall element niche can be integrated. In the Sanwell shower wall module the plumbing is installed at the factory — on site only the connections are made; there is an XS version for tight spaces. Once bonded, ceramic or a design surface goes straight on top. It is used as a shower enclosure, a room divider and a screen.
