wedi Fundo shower tray — level-access shower base with linear drain

wedi

Short answer: wedi Fundo shower tray is a level-access shower base with linear drain made by wedi in Germany. Sauna Dekor specifies and installs it in the rooms we build; the product and its certificates are the manufacturer's.

With a level-access shower, getting the fall right is half the job; with Fundo the fall is formed at the factory, so there is no wrestling with screed falls on site. Square or rectangular; the channel close to the wall, away from the wall or in the middle — there is a tray to match every layout. The low installation height means it also works in refurbishments. The surface is strong enough to take a wheelchair, and the tray can be cut without voiding the warranty.

Model note

What the wedi Fundo shower tray is

In a level-access shower, half the job ends with the fall; on the Fundo the fall is formed at the factory, so there is no wrestling with screed falls on site. There are five trays: square and rectangular geometries, with the linear channel close to the wall, away from the wall, in the centre or offset. Channel lengths start at 300 mm. Because the installation height is low, it also works in refurbishment — it sits on the floor without lifting the existing screed. The surface is strong enough to carry a wheelchair, which is why it is used in accessible bathrooms. The tray can be cut on site without voiding the warranty; the Riolito, Riolito neo, Plano Linea and Thermo versions all work on the same principle.

Close alternatives we also specify and install: the wedi Fundo Top — linear drain (Fundo Riolito · Fundo Riolito neo), the wedi Fundo Top — point drain (Fundo Primo · Fundo Ligno · Fundo Plano · Fundo Integro), the wedi I-Board Top (Mineral and vinyl composite). The wedi overview lists every range.
