What the EOS Water softening system is

In hard water, water softening determines the life of the generator. There are two bodies: the AKE40 gives 2,400 litres per hour and the AKE120 3,000 litres per hour; the salt tanks hold 40 and 80 kg. The AKE40 is for 1–6 users, the AKE120 for 8–20. Dimensions are 670 × 320 × 520 mm and 1,250 × 320 × 520 mm; the supply is 230 V, protection class IP22 and operating pressure 2.0–6.0 bar. Water hardness is set on the electronic control. Regeneration takes 35 minutes and is factory-set for 02.00 at night, so that soft water is uninterrupted during the day. During regeneration an automatic bypass routes the water around the system. Salt consumption is 2.4 kg on the AKE40 and 7.2 kg on the AKE120.
