What the EOS Vitae Protect+ is

Vitae Protect+ combines two features: a ceramic glass filter and a built-in dimmer. The filter spreads the heat and protects the emitter from moisture, while the dimmer lets the intensity be set from inside the cabin. The emitter is quartz glass, with outputs of 350, 500 and 750 W; the 500 and 750 W versions have an inrush current limiter built in. The spectrum covers the full range — IR-A, IR-B and IR-C — and reaches full output in under a second. It can be ordered with or without a black flock-coated protective grille; on the version without the grille, contact protection must be provided on site, a point the manufacturer notes separately. It measures 1,040 × 200 × 60 mm, or 885 × 200 × 60 mm for the Compact version, and weighs about 3.4 kg. A 3 m silicone cable is fitted as supplied.

Modular control
