What the EOS InfraTec Classic is

The InfraTec Classic is the basic control unit for an infrared cabin: a backlit alphanumeric LCD display, a 30 °C – 70 °C temperature range and a heating time freely set between 1 and 99 minutes. The main on/off switch sits inside the housing, and there is a separate switch for the cabin lighting. It recesses into the wall, measures 139 × 194 × 49 mm and weighs 1 kg. Switching capacity is up to 3.5 kW and can be increased with optional power extension modules; the fuse is 1 × 16 A. The temperature sensor comes with 3 m of cable. It is ordered in two ways: as a ready set with the supply cable and plug, cabin lighting cable and emitter connection cable fitted, or as the control unit and sensor alone.

Modular control

Material information is the manufacturer's product specification. In the cabins we build ourselves we use ayous, aspen and pine, including their thermo-treated versions; hemlock, red cedar and alder on request.
