What the Condair Sigma is

The Sigma is an electrode generator: steam is produced by current passing between electrodes inside a cylinder. There are seven power ratings and two body sizes, with capacities between 4 kg and 65 kg per hour. The same range can serve a single steam shower or the large cabin of a hotel spa, so when a project grows the brand and the interface stay the same. The housing is hot-dip galvanised; that coating protects the sheet metal surface, which is the part that suffers most over the years in damp plant rooms. In an electrode system the steam cylinder is a consumable and is replaced when its time comes; we put this in the operating budget from the outset. The manufacturer positions the range as the economical and durable option.
