Model note

What the EOS P1 is

P1 has a classic stainless steel body that either stands on the floor or hangs on the wall. It is only 38 cm deep; the low form spread across 63 cm of width keeps the space in front of the bench clear in narrow cabins. The inner shell, outer shell and stone container are stainless steel. Wide air channels at the sides regulate convection; 30 kg of stone mass holds the temperature steady and delivers the löyly. The connection box is at the back, and the base of the body works as a tray collecting dust and water. It measures 72 × 63 × 38 cm, weighs 26 kg without stones and runs on a 400 V three-phase supply. 10.5 kW covers up to 11–15 m³, 12 kW covers 14–18 m³ and 15 kW covers 18–25 m³. In the floor-standing version the air vent starts at 35 × 7 cm.

Close alternatives we also supply and install: the EOS Picco (3 kW · 3.5 kW), the EOS Filius (4.5 kW · 6 kW · 7.5 kW), the EOS ThermoTec (6 kW · 7.5 kW · 9 kW). It belongs to the EOS Sauna Heaters. The EOS overview lists every range.

Selection

How we find the right capacity

We work out the capacity from the cabin volume; the five steps below are done together at the quotation stage.

Start with the cabin volume

Basic rule: cabin volume (m³) × 1 kW. A 2 × 2 × 2.10 m cabin is 8.4 m³ and needs about 9 kW. This figure is a starting point, not the answer.

Add glass and uninsulated surfaces

Add 1.2 m³ to the volume for every m² of glass front, and about 1.2 m³ for every m² of uninsulated concrete or stone. In a cabin with a full glass front, the real requirement is thirty to forty percent above the bare volume.

Agree the power supply early

Above 9 kW a 400 V three-phase supply is required; for lower outputs the phase is chosen according to the heater's installation manual. The heater is fed on its own circuit, with its own fuse and residual current device.

State the usage intensity

A home cabin used two hours a day and a hotel cabin open for ten hours cannot use the same unit. For commercial use, heavy-duty (HD) units and a larger stone mass are chosen.

Choose the control together with the heater

The power a control unit can switch directly is limited; above that, a PEB power boost unit is needed. This is calculated at the quotation stage.

Why EOS

Five series, one ecosystem

The logic you set up in a home works in a hotel too.

Five series, one control family

The same control family runs from the Standard series up to the large commercial series. The logic you set up in a home works in a hotel too.

Modular control

Sauna, hammam, steam and infrared modules plug into the EmoTouch 3 unit. Four rooms are run from one panel, with no separate switchboard.

Open to building automation

With the KNX and Modbus module it connects to the hotel management system, and opening hours can be programmed centrally.

Safety as a separate line

Door contact, emergency button, heater guard and EOSafe are available as separate products. In a commercial facility they are not optional.

Spare parts stock

We keep spare parts in stock in Istanbul for the equipment we install. In a commercial facility, what keeps a cabin closed for months is waiting for parts.

Around 20 years with EOS

We have been installing EOS equipment for around 20 years, so we know from site work how each unit performs in each room volume.
