What the EOS Emergency button is

The emergency button cuts the heater through the overheat safety circuit. There are two separate contact circuits — one normally open, one normally closed — so a single press can do two jobs at once: stop the heater and raise an alarm outside through optional signalling equipment. In a commercial facility this second circuit is what alerts staff elsewhere in the building. The cover plate is maple, 80 × 80 × 12 mm; installation depth for the button is 85 mm, and the long body is fixed with screws. The visible part is IP65 up to the installation point. Maximum ambient temperature is +70 °C, insulation voltage 250 V and current limit 5 A. It can be ordered on its own or with the cover plate and installation set.
