Blumenberg

Short answer: The Blumenberg Holzbadewanne is a wooden bathtub made by Blumenberg in Germany. Sauna Dekor specifies it with the bathrooms, suites and private spas we build, supplies it and installs it on site; the product and its warranty are the manufacturer's.

Outer height: 60–70 cm, chosen freely; head end can be raised by 10 cm
Inner depth: outer height minus about 17.5 cm (base about 3 cm, about 14.5 cm floor clearance for the factory-fitted trap)
Wood: mainly Kambala or larch (Lärche)
Surface: transparent hygiene seal; alternative: natural hard-wax oil (needs more care)

Model note

What the Blumenberg Holzbadewanne is

The Holzbadewanne is Blumenberg's oval bathtub built from solid wooden staves, glued with a double tongue joint, ground round inside and bound with re-tensionable steel hoops. The walls are vertical, so the tub is as large at the bottom as at the top; the manufacturer gives about 15–20 cm more usable inner length than a conventionally shaped bathtub of the same outer size.

The 151 × 73 cm model is the manufacturer's best-selling single-person size. Intermediate lengths (for example 146 × 79 or 159 × 73 cm) and lengthened versions are made to order. Taps are not included; the client chooses them, and the inlet usually sits at the middle of the long side.

Close alternatives we also supply and install: the Blumenberg Sitzbadewanne (Short sit-in tub, 100–122 cm), the Blumenberg Runde Holzbadewanne (Ø112 / Ø132 / Ø153 cm), the Blumenberg Therapiewanne (205 × 73 × 70 cm, both ends rounded). The Blumenberg overview lists every range.
