Model note

What the Andres AU Black is

AU Black is the black-hardware version of the classic roller-latch steam door. The hinge is AU black; on the handle side there are two options — AU black and DU black. The glass is 8 mm toughened and the frame 50 mm deep in moisture-resistant aluminium. The glass list is wider than on the standard AU: seven colours, extra clear included. The frame surface colour is not stated separately in the specifications; we confirm it at the order stage. A threshold is added where needed. The opening direction is universal, and there are nine standard sizes plus custom manufacture; installation follows the same method as a sauna door. The roller latch stops the door easing open under its own weight in a public hammam.

Close alternatives we also specify and fit: the Andres AU (8 mm toughened safety glass), the Andres AU Light Premium (Anodised aluminium), the Andres AU Premium (Anodised aluminium). It belongs to the Andres steam room doors. The Andres overview lists every range.
