What the Andres Lux is

The Lux has a magnetic catch and heavy hardware: Lux or AU Premium on the hinge, and three versions of the Premium handle — timber-on-timber, stainless and chrome. The Premium handle is longer than the Mini Premium, so you open the door by gripping it at the middle of the body; on wide cabin doors that difference is noticeable. The glass is 8 mm toughened and the frame finger-jointed and 92 mm deep, with alder, aspen and thermo-treated aspen to choose from. The glass comes in seven colours, extra-clear included. The opening direction is universal, with nine standard sizes plus custom manufacture. Because the magnetic catch leaves no visible mechanical part, the glass surface stays whole.
