Bodrum Polimeks Erraertfarm steam room, Bodrum 2026
Sauna Dekor designed, manufactured and installed the Bodrum Polimeks Erraertfarm steam room in Bodrum, Türkiye, completed in 2026. It is a single wet-heat room finished entirely in green-grey glass mosaic, with a barrel-vault ceiling, a curved bench lit from underneath and a Condair steam generator. The 13 photographs on this page are of the finished room.

What was built in Bodrum
One steam room, clad in glass mosaic on 5 surfaces: walls, floor, bench, end wall and the vaulted ceiling. A long curved bench runs along one wall with a concealed LED strip beneath its front edge. A hand shower and its control sit on the arched end wall, and a floor drain takes rinse water and condensate out of the room.
A barrel-vault ceiling so condensate runs down the walls
Steam rooms run at about 40–50 °C with the air close to 100 % relative humidity, so water condenses on every cold surface. A flat ceiling would collect those drops and release them onto bathers. The barrel vault here curves continuously into the side walls, so condensate follows the curve and runs down the mosaic to the floor drain.
The vault also carries the room’s fixed services: 2 recessed spotlights and a round ceiling vent are set into the mosaic, so nothing hangs below the curved surface.
Full glass mosaic on every surface
Glass mosaic is non-porous and takes the curves of a vault and a rounded bench edge without cut tiles, which is why the whole Bodrum Polimeks Erraertfarm steam room is clad in it. The 2-tone green-grey blend hides the grout lines on curved faces, and a darker band marks the rounded nose of the bench.
A curved bench with LED light underneath
The bench is a formed, mosaic-clad element rather than a separate seat, and its front edge is rounded for 1 reason: comfort for bathers who sit for longer in wet heat than in a dry sauna. A concealed LED strip under that edge lights the floor and makes the bench appear to float in the steam.
Waterproof speakers, behind white round grilles, are set into the bench front at intervals along its length, so sound can be played inside the steam room.
Condair steam generation, hand shower and drainage
Steam comes from a Condair steam generator, the brand we use for our steam rooms. As with any Condair steam bath generator, the unit is installed outside the room and only the steam line enters it. Inside, 1 wall-mounted hand shower gives bathers a rinse between rounds, and the floor falls to a drain that also clears condensate from the vault.
How this project relates to our other steam and hammam work
We have also worked in Bodrum on the Ottoman hammam suite at a Bodrum villa estate. For a mosaic steam room with a contoured lit bench in the UAE, see the private steam room at The Springs, Dubai. Our steam generator page covers Condair selection, and shower systems covers the rinse stage, and our projects archive lists the rest of our delivered work. Founded in Istanbul in 1987, Sauna Dekor has 40 years of manufacturing, a team of 19 and work in more than 35 countries.
Frequently asked questions about the Bodrum Polimeks Erraertfarm steam room
What temperature does a steam room like this run at?
A steam room typically runs at about 40–50 °C with the air close to 100 % relative humidity. That is far cooler than a dry sauna, but the saturated air makes it feel intense, so sessions are kept short and broken up with a cool rinse.
Why does a steam room need a vaulted or sloped ceiling?
Saturated air condenses on the ceiling. A flat ceiling lets the drops gather and fall on bathers; a vault or a sloped ceiling sends the water along the curve and down the walls to the floor drain, which keeps the bench area dry overhead.
Why use glass mosaic instead of large tiles?
Small glass mosaic follows curved surfaces such as a vault or a rounded bench edge without visible cuts, and glass does not absorb water. Large-format tiles cannot follow a tight curve, so a vaulted room would need many cut pieces and more joints.
What does the LED strip under the bench do?
It lights the floor and the lower part of the room so bathers can see their footing in dense steam, and it makes the mosaic bench appear to float. The strip sits in the shadow below the rounded bench edge, out of direct view.
Where does the steam generator go?
A Condair steam bath generator is installed outside the steam room, and only the steam line and its outlet enter the enclosure. This keeps the electronics out of the wet zone and lets service work be done without entering the room.
Who designed and built the Bodrum Polimeks Erraertfarm steam room?
Sauna Dekor, an Istanbul manufacturer and turnkey contractor founded in 1987, designed, manufactured and installed the room in 2026. The scope covered the room design, the mosaic finish, the curved bench, lighting, hand shower, drainage and the Condair generator.

Our own company certification is TS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management, issued against a scope of sauna and spa product manufacturing and after-sales service. The equipment we install — heaters, steam generators, controls — carries its own CE / EN 60335, TÜV, GS and comparable approvals from its manufacturers, such as EOS, Sentiotec and Condair. We do not present those supplier approvals as our own.
